Health and Wellness Coaching

Domain: Biology | Mind / Body | Knowledge | Beliefs

A coach is a practitioner who is familiar with or trained in the use of wellness modalities that can help you improve your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.  A coach can act as your guide.  They can help as an accountability partner getting you closer to your goals.  Coaches are not usually licensed medical providers or mental health workers, which makes working with a coach a great complement to traditional psychotherapy and counseling.

There are numerous and varied coaching programs.  Some trainings allow coaches to receive their trainings online rather quickly. Others require years of focused, guided study.  This can be a confusing landscape for people seeking guidance.  The providers listed here have been nominated by the public for their alignment with Integrate Columbus’ values.  With their help, we will work to make this information and resources about health and wellness coaching easier to navigate and understand so that you can choose the best options for your team if you choose to work with a coach.
